Adam and Eve's children
The Bible names three of Adam's children. It also says he had other sons and daughters, but it does not give their names.
Two family lines
From the start, two lines grew side by side. Cain's line built cities and skills but bragged about violence. Seth's line called on the LORD and led to Noah.

Overlaps worth noticing
These years come from adding up the ages in Genesis 5 and 11, reading Terah as 70 when Abram was born (Genesis 11:26). Many careful Bible scholars read Genesis 11:32, 12:4, and Acts 7:4 to mean Terah was 130. That moves Abraham 60 years later. Noah and Abram would then not overlap, but Shem still would. Creation here falls about 4114 BC.
